No one can know what the universe won’t tell, and it doesn’t reveal much, leaving what we think we know as little more than a melding of theory, conjecture, and make-believe. All you can know is that “what YOU are” creates an exquisite, cosmic soup with no recipe but contains the most beautiful ingredients and delicious flavors. You’ll “get it” when “what you know” is no longer known. Do you see?

What you know is the chemical additives and artificial flavors mixed in with an already tasty and healthy entrée. You don’t need them to relish the meal. All you need do is to be present at the table, open to surprise and adventure. Bon appétit!

Joy thrives regardless of circumstances. That is your circumstances or anyone else’s that you think is better or worse than yours. Having or getting adds confusion and anxiety to a mind beset with more of what it doesn’t have, and joy, happiness, and contentment are the cost. Realizing “what YOU are” is inexplicable joy carried evermore into where you are regardless of the circumstances. In other words, YOU’ve got it all. Why not enjoy it?

Making life work requires an act of love so great that the impossibility of knowing how to do it never prevents you from living it with starry-eyed wonder and amazement. Knowing that you may never know is the only fuel required to make it work, and loving any outcome the joy you experience, having done so. Love your living, and life always works.

Happiness is not a derivative of your ability to judge the differences between this or that. It exists regardless of your distinctions but is most apparent when you don’t make any distinctions. Do you see?

It is not possible to dive naked into a pool of water and not get wet. Likewise, happiness is a pool that only asks that you plunge into its depths without judging how wet you will get or what that wetness consists of. Life is swimming; even if you don’t know how to swim, always take the plunge. See you at the pool!

The playground of happiness is always open, never guarded, and admission-free. The only thing that keeps us from entering is our Mind’s crazy idea of happiness. The thought of happiness is the demise of it. So, stop thinking about it, and let’s play.

Bozebits

Happiness is not what we do, places we go, things we learn, beliefs, acclaim, friendships, etc. The truly happy are those who have paid no price for it. Happiness is our essence, not some formula devised to achieve it, and it hides in the most elusive place known to humans. That is in our thoughts of where we think it should be. Stop the thoughts; happiness is YOU right now!

Bozebits

Your wants disempower you. Your needs lull you into illusion, and your possessions enslave you. Minimize all three to experience more freedom, less stress, and unconstrained joy.

Bozebits

Happiness requires no self to be. That is, no self that feeds on things it believes cause happiness. Love and joy are the same. All these things defy cause and effect. There is no cause for love, joy, or happiness. They just are.

YOU the CREATOR- The Unchangeable Change

What we like to call change, for most of us, is really an adding of layers to the onion rather than removing them. We tell ourselves “let me do this, accomplish that or go here instead of where I am, and everything will be better.” It won’t; please get that!

Most of us are full of layers that are little more than avoidance of real-life experiences we find ourselves in. We believe that we can change our circumstances simply by running from them and that, somehow, will unravel us but really it just winds us up even tighter.

Shadows

What you don’t experience fully becomes the nature of your experience even when you think you have changed. What you don’t take care of now becomes a layer; a full-length overcoat that is heavy and burdensome!

Get good with where you are; be honest with it and never let yourself be fooled into believing you are not its creator. You can run from creation, but you can never run from yourself, e.g., “the Creator.” Live where you are because “where you are” is the only place life exists.

A Holiday Message – Before Giving….Release

During this holiday season I would like to share some thoughts about the greatest “gift” you can give to yourself. I hope you won’t mind my making reference to Jesus as this time of the year is especially focused on the birth and subsequent life of Jesus but the message is universal and certainly non-denominational.

Christians the world over look to Jesus as a gift, given to the world by a kind and benevolent Father and that we should pledge strong belief and allegiance to him. Christians miss much about this great man. The life of Jesus and all his subsequent teachings were about “release.” Our “giving” should be about giving away the things in this life that we attach ourselves to. It is believed that Jesus gave his life for the sins of those who would but believe in him, however, where we err is that the “giving” is about Him and not us. We consider his great kindness to us and we are forever obliged and in his subjection for having sacrificed as he supposedly did.

The idea of giving away our sins is not so much about giving away our sins to him as much as it is about releasing ourselves from carrying them.  We should not feel burdened with life. Giving is a difficult thing to do when the giving is from the abundance of our egoic identity. Egoic abundance is all that ego holds as reality, truth and belief when most of it falls into a realm of illusion and untruth. We are all full of such abundance and all of it comes with the attachments of fear and guilt and second guessing our own unique and divine nature.

True giving is releasing ourselves of our burdens. This is a greater gift then that of giving from our physical wealth because “release” frees us of our emotional ties to things past that no longer exist other then as memories coupled with the original emotions they carried. Giving always carries emotion which is not really giving. Release instead, your identity with the things that cause you fear and doubt. These are the only things that make you question your own divine nature. Release your grief, your sorrow, your sadness, your unhappiness and your pain. These are the greatest gift you can give to life and everyone who experiences you in their life.

It is my hope that you make this holiday season, not about the traditional “giving” we have come to think it is, but about “releasing” ourselves of our limited ideas about how incredible we are. Let everything go and enjoy to the fullest your divine nature and the divine nature of everyone you come in contact with.  Nothing you have done, do, or will do will ever impact your place in eternity. When you get to this place you no longer “give” of your abundance. You give of yourself and those to whom you give will sense the release you have experienced. This will release them.

All my best during this holiday season. Let yourself be merry, happy and free of anything you believe holds you to a view of yourself that is anything less than the god you are.

All my love,

Carl
