Shouting your position does little more than make you accessible to those at whom you shout. That is, you expose your vulnerabilities, and vulnerability arises from ignorance. It is not intellectual ignorance but the kind that has been taken over by your mind that refuses to see that YOU are other than your shouting attempts to project. Contrasted by “what YOU are,” outcry is but a mask you wear (we all wear) to hide the gulf that is not filled by anything you say, believe, dream, or wish.

“Awareness” only hears what YOU are and nothing you say. There is never cause enough to raise your voice or your ire. It’s always clear when “what YOU are” is in the foreground of your thoughts. There’s less shouting, too. What are you? I’d love to “not” hear.

What you believe is the demise of what is. It throws you into a false fantasy that what you don’t like now can be replaced by something you only imagine. Do you see?
The imaginary pursuit of “something else” takes you out of the present, which is real, and all there will ever be. To “believe” otherwise is to miss that. Don’t miss it! “Now” is too rich and beautiful to waste a second elsewhere!

Your body has the sensory equipment to detect millions of bits of information each second, but your mind (consciousness) can only process maybe forty bits per second. What happens to the rest, and what is held in consciousness and why? When you wake up each morning, where have “you” been? The all-important “I” only appears upon waking up, but where was it, and what was in its place while you slept? The “Self” spoken of by so many spiritual gurus is “what is” while you are asleep and unaware of the conscious self you refer to as “I” while awake.

We speak of expanding consciousness, but your mind is incapable of that. All your mind can do is alter what it is conscious of. In other words, what is it that sleeps without any awareness of body or mind? It is the only question worthy of answering, and only you can do it.

Look at your conscious filters. Does your mind stream information that sounds like a CNN, Fox News, newsreel, a religious sermon, righteous indignation, a political cause, a reality Television show, gossip, video game, etc.? Forty bits of information is all you get unless you rediscover “what YOU are” that silently takes in everything. Since “IT” has no bodily limitations, why would you waste a single bit of conscious information not connecting with IT? Silly question?

Most searchers are impulse buyers. That is, they have an idea of what they seek and pay the price that such a search requires. Do this or that, and call me in the morning, and if you don’t get the results you’re looking for, you’re doing something wrong. Next, let’s try this, etc., etc.
Few, if any, pay the price to know themselves. That is, “what they are” that lies beneath the attachments to the world driven by bodily desires. You were born without attachments and no awareness of your own body. What were you, then? Do you wonder?

The only thing worth knowing is that which cannot be bought or sold. Paradoxically, it cannot be told either. The price of “knowing” YOU is detachment from desires, safety, security, comfort, and all the other things your body uses to hook you to the world. However, the price you’ve paid for such things is high, and the sellers, who guarantee results if you do as they say, are relentless in keeping you subscribed.
Stop buying and give away what you have bought today or for just a few minutes or hours. The return is indescribable, and you and you merge with the infinite—all at no cost!

Quantum physics tells us that matter (particles) pop into and out of existence for no apparent reason or predictability. In to and out of human existence is much the same. It happens for no reason but begins the process of every “problem” humans face. Do you see?
Perhaps the greatest mystery and likely the underlying truth of your existence is what you were before you popped into it, and “what” will you be when you “pop” out? While a mystery, it doesn’t seem we had any problems before getting here. At least none of them were brought with us. So what is going on?
I have no clue, and neither do you or anyone else. However, it might be worthwhile to find what YOU are that existed before you existed here. Indeed, “IT” is still here, but perhaps knowing will point out the futility of identifying with the nutty things humans “believe” important.
I have repeatedly stated that “getting you out of your mind” is always a worthy effort, but I’ve done the opposite with this post. No apologies. I’m a “silly human,” too! “Popping out,” now.

Roughly a quarter to one-third of human existence is nothingness, e.g., sleep. You close your eyes, and time ceases, “you” are without any conscious awareness, problems vanish, and then, just like that, you awaken, and “you” appear out of nowhere, and “what was” piles back on to your suddenly realized self.
Where did “you” go when you fell asleep? What are “you” when your body sleeps and consciousness has disappeared? Is this your state before you appeared on Earth? If you can say you don’t know. If you know, you can’t say.
Still, it seems the most incredible peace offered by awareness lies in being completely unaware. Who knows? But thank goodness for those periodic spells of unconsciousness.

Nothing new or special is coming your way and for that, be grateful. You have plenty to experience right now at this moment that has never existed before and will never exist again. Give the present your all, and you will never want for anything else. “NOW” is your treasure.

Everything you believe is a description of something unreal coupled with the addition of hope that “it,” whatever that may be, somehow, is real. In other words, your beliefs are the highway to nowhere and the Fastrack away from what, actually, is real.
You experience the “real” when your explanations, hopes, wishes, and dreams of it cease to enter into any aspect of it. That is, the less you believe, the more real your experience of now will be, and there is nothing quite like a full-on experience of your experience!
Now, don’t “believe” me because that won’t get you there. Just unplug your mind from your experience and take only what you get. That will be enough!

Ego’s outstanding achievement is suppressing the most obvious things you experience and replacing the real with eloquent expression and epistemological description. It is so clever that unfathomable beauty can be right in front of you, and all you will see is ugliness if that happens to be the mood of ego at the moment. Do you see?

The “mood” of ego is its preservation, and it will alter reality to hold its position of dominance over your experience regardless of any impact it may have on your experience. “I see,” you say. “I” is ego and is incapable of seeing the unseen, which is the “obvious,” e.g., beauty.

Beauty exists in every moment, every encounter, and YOU have eyes to know it when your “I’s” are made blind. That is, silent. It’s not so obvious when you think about it, so stop thinking about it!

Awareness is seeing exactly “what is” without any thoughts or explanations accompanying it. One who “sees” (is aware) “knows” instantly and is clear before any thought enters into it. In other words, any explanation of “what is” is its undoing.

You could say reverence is the doorway to “knowing” what is that otherwise is unknowable.
