What you believe separates you from what others believe, creating for you “them,” which is a denial of “we” as one. Beliefs, which, by the way, do not originate with you, are fodder for your ego that always asserts its rightness and separation from contrary beliefs. Do you see?
Those you cannot include on your side, whatever your side may be, makes you, not them, divisive. Any belief that creates “them” is faulty and the breakdown of oneness. There is only “we,” and we’re all pretty cool, regardless of what you believe!

Give way to the mystery that is the foundation of your experience. Embrace love instead, and whatever unfolds, it will carry you through. Lighten the load of all that you feel you must shoulder, especially the burdens of heavy thoughts and resentments. The less you have to think about, the less you have to fear.
Ease, always, into life with your wits, kindness, and smile. Life will smile back.

The “best” never comes. It just is, and it is right now. It’s not how you view it that makes it so. Your view is fraught with beliefs, judgments, prejudices, conjectures, hopes, and dreams, so much so that actual awareness of “what is” rarely happens. Seeing has no voice, no mind, and no description, and “the best” is always right now, right where you are, and it is oozing with beauty. And why wouldn’t it be beautiful? YOU created it and, well, YOU are the best!

The past is unfixable, the future unattainable. A single thought of either transports you from the intimacy that only exists where you stand at this moment. Look only to now, and you will never be without love and the peace afforded only in the present.

The search for truth is more likely an attempt to escape from it. That is, we look, in our searching, for something better than what is now, and that “looking” is driven by a preconceived notion that there is more somewhere else that has yet to be attained. So we search, when all that can be known, all that can fulfill our existence, is the very thing we want to escape from. That is, “what is” now. Truth cannot be found where you search for it. It is found in the things you want to be different from now. Stay put; all that is is right here, not waiting to be discovered, instead, waiting for your embrace. Hug the day; your eyes will be opened!

The love, joy, peace, etc., you imagine in the future is not real and never will be. If the heart that dreams of future qualities such as these is not all of these things now, they do not exist. You can lose yourself in a future that will never be, and always be hopeful of such things, or you can be those things now and tend to what is rather than what is imagined. YOU are real, “what is” is real, but only in the present and entirely without thoughts of what might be.
Love has no future. It cannot be made up, characterized, or achieved. It moves about as you move about, and all that is NOW is its extension. Be present, and you are love (joy, peace, etc.).

Bozebits

The best version of yourself will never be something you think or aspire to be. That would only be the made-up version of you, which isn’t you. In other words, the future holds no version of you that you can ever get to. The future doesn’t exist, and neither does the (best) version of yourself that you contrive in your mind to become. You, right now, are the only version of yourself that can and, surprisingly, does exist. And let me just say, “it doesn’t get any better! That is, you, now, are the most incredible mosaic of all that is, and if it weren’t all happening right now, it would never happen at all. You’re amazing. Why is it so hard for you, who search for better versions, to see that? Silly humans!

Bozebits

Dwelling on the past makes you a slave to it, and it is the worst kind of slavery in that the past does not exist. In other words, any connection to the past is a self-imposed prison, virtually impossible to escape! Your mind loves the story of its suffering and trauma and embellishes it at every opportunity, making it, seemingly, real and thus, un-overcome-able. Your identity with it is little more than your story, and yet, in all the telling, it rarely goes away. So why keep telling it?
Regardless of what you have been through in the past, is it not true that right now, in the present, you are “through” it? Living now has no history. You always get a fresh start in the present, and right NOW is your freedom!

Bozebits

Being aware is full engagement with “what is” in the moment. That is, all in, with no movement of thought akin to walking along a mountain stream and encountering a bear a few yards away walking toward you. Before a single thought arises, you are fully present and engaged; every sense heightened, your mind crystal clear because it has yet to start a disconnecting conversation. Mind without thought is the only clarity you can experience, and what comes after is either a stream of thought clouding things up or awareness that has no connection to anything, learned, believed, imagined, or experienced. Be “all in,” but don’t think about what being “all in” is; that will only take you out.

Bozebits

Awareness is not an evolutionary thing, nor is it a becoming over many iterations or educational processes. It is not found in self-seeking intentions, achievements, or effort. Awareness is just present, and the mind that pursues it will always overlook it by looking everywhere it (the present) isn’t. Your mind, all minds, for that matter, are in a state of perpetual movement, and until the movement of all thoughts ceases, you will only be aware of what you think, and no mind can “think” with the simplicity of creative silence. YOU are the Creator, but not because of anything your mind is moving toward. Awareness, quietly, “knows.” Be still; YOU “know” too.
