Ego switches from suffering to joy and back again with only one purpose. It keeps you attached to your body and all the stimulating forms the world presents, regardless of how you label them. Do you see? In “bodily” terms, they are the same, e.g., “This feels good I am happy; this feels bad my I am sad, etc.” Gottcha! Hook, line, and sinker.

YOU are not your body, mind, or consciousness. Form hears only the call of death. Awareness of “what YOU are” outside of form “is” life. Always life. In silence, you know this; in reality, YOU are this. Smile at your body, and all the nonsense it attaches itself to that all, eventually, disappears. YOU are forever!

The “middle way” described by Buddha is often mistakenly presumed to mean placement somewhere between this way or that, or that “truth” is found between the extremes many humans take sides on. It’s not that at all. The “middle way” describes a “path” that cannot be followed. In other words, there is no way. Most searchers are on a treadmill pounding out marathons of “ways” going nowhere, never realizing that the way they have taken is the reason. Do you see? If you think you know the way or buy into someone’s way, you’re lost and likely to run a long time before figuring out it’s not the way.

Get off the treadmill and go for a walk to no place in particular. Enjoy the sights and nix that conversation by the “stream of consciousness” in your head. You won’t find a “way,” but you might discover that “where you are, is an excellent introduction to what YOU are.

Quantum physics tells us that matter (particles) pop into and out of existence for no apparent reason or predictability. In to and out of human existence is much the same. It happens for no reason but begins the process of every “problem” humans face. Do you see?
Perhaps the greatest mystery and likely the underlying truth of your existence is what you were before you popped into it, and “what” will you be when you “pop” out? While a mystery, it doesn’t seem we had any problems before getting here. At least none of them were brought with us. So what is going on?
I have no clue, and neither do you or anyone else. However, it might be worthwhile to find what YOU are that existed before you existed here. Indeed, “IT” is still here, but perhaps knowing will point out the futility of identifying with the nutty things humans “believe” important.
I have repeatedly stated that “getting you out of your mind” is always a worthy effort, but I’ve done the opposite with this post. No apologies. I’m a “silly human,” too! “Popping out,” now.

Your world is as it is because you are continually talking about it being as it is. Do you see? Talking about how it should be, could be, or how you would like it to be reinforces what you think it is. Yes, you can change your talk and thinking too, but that only replaces one thing with another, and the world continues with your “talk” of “how it is.”
Turn it off altogether, talking and thinking. That will give the world a chance to unfold as it does and take you out of making assessments about its unfolding. It will also alter your mood to one of you, happening to the world rather than it happening to you. Best of all, however, is the quiet you experience when you’re not talking.

Right now, in this moment, you have everything. That is, NOW closes the door on any journey you think you are on. Why would you squander present moment effort trying to be somewhere else? Now is where it’s at; the question is, where are you at?

The heart and soul of impeccability is “I don’t know.” That supplication frees you from every imperfection you or others think exists. Any other meaning assigned to it is words inflated by concept and belief, typically designed to make the expresser feel important.
Impeccability is action without reason or purpose, and purity is its inevitable outcome. YOU are perfect; you always have been and always will be, but you will never know it by hearing it from me or trying to convince yourself you are. Know the “Knower,” and ”I don’t know,” dissolves into virtue. YOU are that!

Keep your peace. Nothing in heaven or Earth can take it from you except you giving way to the shouting otherwise. That is, listening to another voice that knows it not. Stop listening, start smiling, and extend your love to anyone struggling to hear, e.g., everyone. The path to peace foregoes your mind and travels only your heart. Start there.

What you plan for is likely to become the object of your frustration. Only because plans become overly important to the mind (you) who creates them, and no plan, no matter how sophisticated, will ever resolve the quirky, unsophisticated ramblings of life unfolding as it does.

Make your plans, but never forget that the only important thing in life is life. That is the life you experience right now, and if that aligns with your “plans,” consider yourself lucky, and if it doesn’t, allow yourself to meander a new side-road full of adventure and surprise.

Nothing you do is important. Knowing what YOU are is. Sometimes, keeping your heart means losing your mind and all its preparations for what may or may not come.

Do not resolve to do anything that puts you at odd with your humanness. That is, accept what you are and embrace only that without any of the filters you view life through. Choosing “you,” as is, unfiltered in any way, is reintroducing “you” to the undefined you, the real YOU. It is the only way to experience experience.

Personal power is lost to the weaknesses you identify with. That is, “weaknesses” are your story developed to either justify your pursuits to change them, share them as a model to help others or lament the station you describe as your life. Likely, all of the above.

Invest your power in “being” right here, right now, with what is, and give not any of it to a story that eagerly consumes it. You (everyone) stand(s) at the end of the tunnel where only light shines, but it is also “you” (everyone) who turns back and looks into the darkness again and again and again.

Of course, your story is an absolute bestseller, but it is nothing to the story you live each moment. Turn again into the light that only disappeared when you turned away from it. There’s nothing behind you but weakness and fiction. Your life is your presence; NOW! Feel the power!
