Your mind is a dawdler that keeps you on the hook by convincing you that all that you desire, strive to become, and seek will surely come about if you just wait a little longer, have a little more faith and hope, do this thing or that, or commit yourself to certain gurus, teachers, or philosophies. And all the while, “what is” slips into the abyss never to be seen or heard from again, except in your mind. As long as you believe you have somewhere to go other than here, now, your mind will dawdle, and you will stay hooked on fantasy and, sadly, miss the greatest spectacle in the universe. That is, the universe YOU create this moment, but “think” should be something else. Stop thinking, and the dawdling stops. See what you’ve created; best of all, it didn’t take a single thought!

The most formidable mountain you will ever encounter is the one you imagine you must climb, and its summit is unreachable because you will always imagine something beyond, even more formidable. NEWS FLASH: Imagination is imaginary!
Where you stand now is not a peak you have climbed. It’s the center of the universe, and anything imagined, imaginable, or unimaginable exists because YOU exist. Do you see? Your mind is a player on a field it creates in a game that does not exist, and yet you give way to its rules, which change constantly. Your mind will play you to exhaustion unless you silence it with your silence. Quiet your mind and behold your creation. That is, ALL that is!

It is unimportant, unnecessary, and perhaps even harmful to carry the erroneous idea that you can do anything you set your mind to. You know it’s untrue; everyone does, so why hold onto such nonsense? What YOU are, outside what you think, is having a finite human experience that ends when human form ends. You do not carry with YOU the nuttiness of the human mind that makes stuff up to appease its fear of the unknown.
Live with what you’ve got and take only what you get, and by all means, don’t make stuff up. That’s where perfection lies, and YOU are perfection. Abide in the mystery no human mind can comprehend, and live every moment to its fullest, no matter what it is. What YOU are is simply on a joy ride! You should enjoy it too!

The meaning of life you seek cannot be known because it doesn’t exist. Yes, you can imagine grand, noble purposes and find niches in life you believe are your purpose, but meaning derived from thought or fantasy is just that: thought or fantasy. The so-called “path with heart” has nothing to do with what you do or finding what you think you must do. It’s not a path at all. The “path with heart” is simply heart detached from anything mind-based, moving quietly through wherever you happen to be and whatever the rest of you happens to be doing.
Your heart is with you always. Even the darkest corners of your experience are enlivened when your heart, your quiet heart, is there, and that “means” everything!

Awareness can only be experienced. You cannot possess it like a car, a house, or an education. Possession is the endgame of all searches, and “finding” what you seek is the end of awareness. Do you see? Fixation, attachment, beliefs, and ritual cause stagnation, and living, which is wild and crazy, mysterious, and uncertain, always takes a hit when you make a claim to any formula or particular way. The infinite cannot be corralled into the finite scope of your mind, and “what YOU are” first, before a single thought, is infinite.
If you must search, may it lead you nowhere; that, at least, is much closer to awareness than anything or anywhere you think you need to get otherwise.

You and you alone give life meaning! Don’t look for life to have meaning for you! We have it all backward. Humans obsess over finding reasons for the life they are living when, in reality, life lives us. Did you get that? Life lives YOU! Nothing exists without YOU. If there is a purpose for living, then YOU are the maker of that purpose! Do you see? There is nothing you’re supposed to be or do, nor is there a right or wrong formula for doing it, and nothing you experience has purpose or meaning because YOU give meaning to life. YOU do not need to seek life; life seeks YOU! So let it find you by dropping all your reasons for finding it.

Hindsight is blindsight. Not 20-20 as the saying goes. You can speculate about all the scenarios you could’ve, should’ve, or would’ve done in the past, and all the brilliance you devise looking back takes you out of NOW and adds a whole lot of noise and lament to the only “real” experience you can have. You cannot add to life, repair it by looking back at a non-existent past, or apply it to a non-existent future. Living now is 20-20, and it is all there is or will ever be. The only switch that gives you clarity is the one that turns your mind off. Do it now so you can “BE” now!

What you consider your purpose in life is just another identity built around what isn’t. Few ever consider that a soup bowl is more than the hard surface it seems to be. Without the space the form provides, the bowl would be useless. Do you see? Purpose is just another thing we make up, then cling to, which narrows focus, confines awareness, and disregards the infinite. Within you is the space for all that is, but you can perceive it only if you look past the form surrounding it. That is, the “purpose” you give it. Emptiness is absent purpose, but without it, nothing exists! Form, your form, is merely a sideshow to the infinite and spaceless, timeless YOU are the infinite. Enjoy your soup!

The truth of you, as told in the story you tell, is not the real story of you. It’s what you don’t tell. Ego needs to claim its victories over life’s tribulations, its comebacks, and rising from the ashes, but it does so to paint over the real, which is untold. No ego is humble enough to reveal the truth. That’s just its nature. So what to do?
The best story is no story. You express what YOU are by living what is, as is, and all that needs telling is alive and real without embellishment, and all who actually hear quietly marvel. That’s because what YOU are is marvelous, despite the story you think others must hear. Plain and simple. Nothing you say speaks louder than what YOU are.

I say this often, but it cannot be stressed enough. “YOU are the creative center of the universe.” That is, nothing exists that is not kissed by YOU, the Divine, the Creator! YOU infuse the very essence of life into the living, and nothing perceived or not perceived is without the unfathomable mystery YOU breathe into it. To know YOU is to know your creations. I cannot look at anything and not “know” YOU; notwithstanding, “I stand all amazed!”
