Let your life be an expression of “what” you truly are, not the chest-pounding assertions made in brash, bold statements, as so many do now. You have nothing to prove in life, no measure to reach, and certainly no need to be extraordinary in egoic terms. All of that was taken care of with your first life-giving breath. There is nothing like YOU in all the universe, nor will there ever be in all the infinities; no competition whatsoever, no greater or lesser. YOUR extraordinariness goes without saying, but only when you embrace your ordinary self. Just BE; no assertion will ever outdo such an expression as YOU.

Your mind cannot connect with the divine, e.g., what YOU are that cannot be thought. Its only focus is “groupthink,” meaning conditioned and given by others. It is forever in search of like minds, like conditioning, confirmation, and security. What YOU are underneath the noise and chatter of thinking cannot be given, trained, thought, described, or searched for. IT just is, and until the “conditioned” is put aside, you will never know IT. That is, know YOU. Clearing your mind clears the way to the wonder of YOU. Nothing more spectacular in all the heavens!

What you think is the foundation of everything you consider wrong in the world, because it falls out of harmony with what you believe is right. What YOU are, outside anything you think or believe, knows only right. That is, “right” is not the opposite of wrong. Isn’t it interesting that “what YOU are” is not “choosing” a life to live but living life as is? And loving it by the way. Get your mind out of the way, and you can too!

Life is always flowing, never pausing, or circling to take you through its various ventures again and again, nor is it contemplating you the way you contemplate it. Most live as though they must “get it right, whatever that means and in not doing so, they pronounce the epithet “it’s all wrong.” Meanwhile, life is moving on just as it always does without care or concern about what you think or do.
Move on. It’s freeing, and nothing you’ve experienced or learned is required to embrace and appreciate the pristine newness of what is happening now. There is nothing but “new” in your life. Every moment is as pure as newly fallen snow. Play in it!

Seeing what you “think” is the best way to override what you’re actually seeing. Life is not a palette of things you pick and choose from to grace your experience and fulfill your whims and fancies. It is everything emanating from the void (nothing) your head occupies. In other words, you can’t see what is seeing because what is seeing is the seen. Did you get that? YOU are IT; ALL OF IT. Seriously, everything you see at this moment rests atop your shoulders. Those are shoulders that have no head, mind, no descriptions, fancies, wishes, or dreams. Now, whatever you do in this moment of unfathomable creation, let not “thinking about it” be another thing you think you see. Just SEE.

Be cool with those who seem hot and throw their fire at you. If you heat up because of them, you only add to the fire, and worst of all, you fall under their control. In other words, don’t confuse action with reaction. Your flames are as hot as anyone else’s, and if they are lit by fire that is thrown at you, your ego is running and ruining your life. Be like the gentle stream into which a burning branch falls and whose flames are absorbed in the waters of your heart. Let them drift with you into coolness and a loving flow that emanates from depths no fire can ignite. Again and again, “Be Cool!”

To fully experience this moment (now) requires detachment from all other moments experienced prior to this moment and those you hope to experience in some nonexistent future. Awareness is empty of all thinking; all noise from past and future non-realities. It is the beheld and released, the silent swim in a thoughtless sea of spectacular luxury, all occurring in the twinkling of an eye. Lose your mind, silence all thoughts, let your eyes twinkle and swim. The silent sea awaits YOU.

Ego seeks objects, e.g., money, religion, politics, knowledge, accreditations, affiliations, status, safety, or just “things” it can satiate its cravings with and invariably is still left empty. Even having achieved all these things, it begs for more, as if one of these “things,” just one, the right one, will be the “thing” that fulfills an endless craving for something more.

Spirituality is not objective; it is subjective. There is no ” object ” that will ever be it, and yet it is the ultimate fullness, even though there is nothing there to be possessed (objectified). Do you see? Any true form of spirituality is a complete mystery, unfathomable, and is the only “filling” that leaves you full. You’ll always know it because mystery leaves you breathless, awe-struck, speechless, and full.

There is no meaning or essential purpose you must have in life, something you must go to, find, or discover that gives value and defines who you are. You living is the purpose. In other words, you give meaning to life as you live it, not the other way around. Meaning and purpose are mind-made constructs that, instead of giving you something to be or do, actually take away from what YOU are. Do you see?

Knowing YOU is merely being you in whatever the moment presents, without the question, “Why is this happening?” Or worse, “why is this happening to me?” YOU are the only happening, and without YOU happening, nothing else happens! YOU are everything, and there’s a lot of meaning to YOU, happening!

Those who search, regardless of what they do or how they do it, encounter the most significant obstructions to what they seek in the actual doing. That is the mechanics of doing that gets in the way of what the doing is supposed to bring about, and humans are notoriously proficient at getting in their own way. When you break from doing (mechanics), you uncover the power of your unique silence, wherein unfoldment happens, which is a wonderland of mystery and activity no “doing” could ever compare to. Nor could any search lead you to it.
Rest from doing what you think you must do; home is where YOU are when your “doing” is left undone.
