Your experience is not translatable or transferable. That is, your experience doesn’t translate into anything other than your experience, and what you think you gained or lost from it isn’t transferable to another. In human-speak, conditioning makes us think this isn’t so, but no one can ever really “walk in your shoes,” as the saying goes. Take what you get, and by all means, let others take what they get too. It’s your life, not theirs, and theirs, not yours. There’s enough life for everyone to experience on their own and cherish what you have that no one in existence will ever have.

Firstly, in matters of the heart, never, ever, ever speak your mind. Your mind gets it wrong one hundred percent of the time. Secondly, all matters are matters of the heart. Shh…

The expectation of experience is the destroyer of experience. “What is” will never yield to your thoughts, wishes, or hopes of what it should be. The cliché that says “life will pass you by” never happens. What passes by is you, the human, trying to outthink “what is,” thus missing altogether the only thing you can experience. Do you see?  Always embrace “what is” as is. The best wish in life is no wish at all.

There are no levels of spirituality. You cannot rise above others without separating yourself from them, which contradicts the very essence of oneness, spirituality purports to encompass. The master who points to anyone and claims that they are not as far along in the spiritual journey as themselves or others is broken. If WE are all one, then no one rises above the whole. No one! Love all and judge not; that’s how it works.

Everything you do is a brush with life. What you supposedly choose is unimportant. Most of us stall out from the choices before us when doing anything would suffice. Engage with life but don’t overthink it. You cannot mess this up! None of us can!

Finding beauty in everything opens your mind to what your heart already knows. There is literally beauty and wonder in everything you experience, and all of it is worthy of your love and awe. Cease all thoughts about your experience, what it means, or why it’s happening. Just embrace it, all of it!! Regardless of the experience, it is really amazing!! Breathtakingly amazing!

The only thing hard about humans is ego. Ego is the shell you form to protect yourself from the onslaught of other egos, and all egos, even the collective ego, are in protective mode. Love and expressions of love are the only way to soften both your own and the ego of others. Show and express love often! Smile, nod, and be kind. Ego always has to mellow in such interactions.

There are no “nots” in the language of life. “Nots” are a product of your mind. That is, if you say life is “not” supposed to be this or that, you pit yourself against reality. If life does not run the full gamut you experience, you mock it, and to judge it in any way is you making stuff up, which again, is denial of “what is” in this moment. Embrace your “nots” and don’t get tied up in knots over it. The spectrum of beauty and life itself contains not only the “nots” but everything else as well.

Your mind, contrary to what you think, does not seek limitlessness. It seeks limitation, safety, and comfort. It loves to control and creates boundaries around things it cannot control. Your mind’s elemental starting point for all interaction is “I am right,” and “everything (everyone) else is wrong.” Switching off your mind puts you squarely in the place of present-moment experience where mystery and wonder are incomprehensible to anything your mind thinks is better. Go “mindless” today; If you aren’t thinking there are no limitations!

The new-age idea that the universe is yessing and no-ing your wants and desires is a hoax and implies that the universe makes choices on your behalf. It’s just not so. The universe is, simply, YES. That is when you place your wants and desires ahead of “what is,” you, and you alone are saying NO to a reality incomprehensible to anything you are capable of thinking otherwise.
Yes is yes to “what is.” That is everything there is! Anything else is no, but it is your no and nothing else. BE YES, and you are one with the universal YES!
