Finding beauty in everything opens your mind to what your heart already knows. There is literally beauty and wonder in everything you experience, and all of it is worthy of your love and awe. Cease all thoughts about your experience, what it means, or why it’s happening. Just embrace it, all of it!! Regardless of the experience, it is really amazing!! Breathtakingly amazing!

There are no “nots” in the language of life. “Nots” are a product of your mind. That is, if you say life is “not” supposed to be this or that, you pit yourself against reality. If life does not run the full gamut you experience, you mock it, and to judge it in any way is you making stuff up, which again, is denial of “what is” in this moment. Embrace your “nots” and don’t get tied up in knots over it. The spectrum of beauty and life itself contains not only the “nots” but everything else as well.

Your mind, contrary to what you think, does not seek limitlessness. It seeks limitation, safety, and comfort. It loves to control and creates boundaries around things it cannot control. Your mind’s elemental starting point for all interaction is “I am right,” and “everything (everyone) else is wrong.” Switching off your mind puts you squarely in the place of present-moment experience where mystery and wonder are incomprehensible to anything your mind thinks is better. Go “mindless” today; If you aren’t thinking there are no limitations!

In spirituality, the beckon is to focus more narrowly, define more clearly, or, as it is now called, raise consciousness. However, the more detailed you become in your descriptions of life, the more wrapped up in your mind you become. In other words, attention to detail, in the spiritual sense, leads to loss of awareness. Quieting your mind removes your sense of reason from the picture of the life you uphold and thus clears your focus, letting more light show through. Under any lens, beauty is present, but if you are determined to sharpen your focus (reason), you will not see that much of it. Set your reason aside. Clarity doesn’t need it, and when it comes to awareness, neither do you!

The “balance” you seek can only happen when all the things you believe cause you suffering, or are wrong with you or life in general, are willingly experienced and embraced. That is, living completely without a single regret or wish for something other. In other words, your life is not you swinging from one high to another low and trying to minimize (balance) the span or intensity between them. It is you in the middle (fulcrum) giving cause, not balance, to the entire ride. Without YOU, nothing else exists; hence, no “ride” at all! That is the sweetest joy you can see and the only life you’re going to experience anyway. Have fun!

Life truly is a “beautiful ride” when you’re the one upon which it rides! Do you see? YOU give living life, and no part of it happens without your experience of it! YOU are the miracle to us all, the great Creator for all that is and isn’t. Your vastness is infinite, and your breath gives form to all that is. Let everything and everyone feel your embrace through a smile, a hug, a wink, an accepting nod, or simple kindness. Your creation is the ride of every life! How can we all not be grateful for YOU?

There is nowhere to go in life, no moving forward, backward, up, down, or any other direction. Forward and backward, etc., do not exist. Life is only about you being, and if you are breathing, you are being. Being is the only “where” and “what” there is, and whatever you seek elsewhere takes you from it. The YOU that seeks nothing, nowhere is the grand spectacle, so why search for it elsewhere? If you’re anywhere but here now, you’re going nowhere. Just BE; YOU, after all, are every “where,” and every “thing.”

The past is where your judgments and reasoning were formed. It is the worst place to spend any time, yet your mind will work tirelessly to keep you there. Get present and simply be with the newness of each crystal-clear moment. The clearer your head, the clearer your experience.

Do you know what greed is? “Dear God, Universe, Great Giver of all that is, karma, etc.; I want.” Yes, greed is, “I want.” Don’t confuse your noble intentions with reality, and think that because you describe another version of something you believe is better, that greed is not the base of it. “I want” ties you to an imaginary reality, and the “good” you imagine is better than “what is” is judgment. YOU not only “have” it all, YOU are ALL. Don’t allow yourself to be divided by mind-based trivialities, e.g., what “I want.”
Look beyond your thoughts by silencing them. Peace and plenty, mystery and wondrousness beyond anything you could possibly want, lie within that silence!

There is a Zen saying: “Only out of the mud can the Lotus grow.” All of the things you consider messed up in the world are the mud from which you, the most beautiful of all flowers, emerge, and the “mud” is never, not there, just as YOU have never not been! The world is perfect, as are YOU. Worry not and judge not the mud from which all life takes form. Sow seeds of goodness, gratitude, and kindness so that your life, regardless of its murkiness and mystery, flowers with beauty.
