Your “reasoning’s” most remarkable feat of trickery is in having convinced you that your perceived problems are more significant and scarier than they are and that your burden of carrying them makes you sensitive, caring, and humble. All your “reason” does is attach you to something unreal and unimportant and provide the reasons for yourself and others to keep you bound to your monsters. It’s not freedom, and it’s not humility. It’s fear, and fear always bows to your “reason” for the wrong reasons.

A “monster” indulged in for any reason becomes enormous, so stop indulging them. It will set you free, and like clouds, your monsters will quietly transform into blue skies.

Humans give away too much power to the confusion generated by their minds that seek “reasons and whys” where none exist. They even buy into the added confusion sown by others doing the same thing.
The majority of thinking, yours and theirs (mine too), is repetition and a drone playing on and on without any allowance for something new and real that lies beyond the chatter. It’s a wonder we even call it thinking and perhaps another reason not to give credence to what others “think” of you, me, us, or anything else. Most of our so-called thinking isn’t thinking! Do you see?
The only thought worth having is “no thought.” It starts in exquisite silence, and if allowed to remain so without running through a gauntlet of mind-based repetition, awareness pops out. Now, that might be something to (not) think about.

Bozebits

Everything you think or believe fades into unimportance when you know what (who) YOU are. That realm of “unimportance” is the blossoming of all that is beautiful, and yes, it’s ALL beautiful.

Be grateful; the ultimate reality of your experience is like being tickled all day long.

Bozebits

Keep your peace. Nothing in heaven or Earth can take it from you except you giving way to the shouting otherwise. That is, listening to another voice that knows it not. Stop listening, start smiling, and extend your love to anyone struggling to hear, e.g., everyone. The path to peace foregoes your mind and travels only your heart. Start there.

Bozebits

Outside anything thought otherwise, you are the guardian of “otherness” you (and everyone) experience occasionally. However, all that “thinking” you do transforms the guardian into a guard protecting you from otherness and tying you to the world’s logic and routines. Do you see?
The guardian of mystery doesn’t protect you from the unknown. It walks you through it while the guard keeps you tightly locked up and secured from it. Routine and familiarity are not safety. They’re tyranny.
YOU know the way through any prison. It doesn’t require any proclamations or sword-wielding demonstrations of boldness, courage, strength, or bravery. Walk past your guards who sleep in constant noise. Shh, don’t wake them!

Bozebits

Awareness is seeing exactly “what is” without any thoughts or explanations accompanying it. One who “sees” (is aware) “knows” instantly and is clear before any thought enters into it. In other words, any explanation of “what is” is its undoing.

You could say reverence is the doorway to “knowing” what is that otherwise is unknowable.

The time to let go is now—always now. To hold on to all the things “modern living” vies for adds to the pile of unimportant junk that frustrates living in general. There are few things you must do, and unless you give the green light to do them, they have no power over you.

Turn off that news or social media feed, take the scenic route to work, and slow down. Turn off your phone for an hour or six, close your laptop, pause, smile, and casually but firmly say no to that lunch invite; it’s time you could put to calmer use. And by all means, don’t fill this moment with anything the non-existent future demands. Did you get that? The future (and past) is “non-existent!” Let go and see if you don’t make it to the end of the day. I bet you do.

Ego feasts on all mind-made judgments of “good and evil” and dooms everyone because of its various distinctions between the two. Do you see? All “sides” in human experience are gourmet dining to a ravenous ego. Yes, even yours and you are fed well regardless of what variation you choose.

Stop choosing! There is a joy to be had right now, but you must stop gorging yourself on the fruits (ideas) of good and evil. Seriously, real, undefined, unencumbered happiness beyond the frenzied feast!

Bozebits

Have you ever noticed that happiness comes without wanting anything else? When you are happy, you’re not thinking about what you want to replace it. It’s the complete package of present-moment awareness, containing everything worth having right then and there.

Isn’t that the way of presence, experiencing “what is” without the pull of unnecessary desires stealing reality? What you want is always right in front of you. It’s not a lesson, revelation, or previous dream that has come true. It is what it is, and nothing you want will ever replace it or alter it, so why add a single “want” to it?

“What is” is yours to disparage or embrace. Since you cannot change anything, why not just embrace it? Seriously, what more could you “want?”

Bozebits

You cannot blame the depth of ugliness humanity reaches on any individual, collective, religion, politics, or ideology. You can only blame yourself for your contribution to it. What is is you. It’s that simple.

The only path to peace in the world is to remove the ego from it. Not theirs; yours. Not so simple but necessary.
