Carl’s Nutshells

Your World, Intuitively

Reason digs deep into your mind, but mystery unleashes the infinite. In other words, the quest for “reason” by digging into your mind does little more than prevent you from a mystery no mind will ever comprehend. Reason that!
Verbalizing what you are, e.g., sensitive, strong, confident, fearless, kind, spiritual, etc.,” is not a revelation of what you are. It’s a revelation of what you are not, and you have a better chance of pulling off what you are not by not speaking about what you want others to believe you are. Ultimately, you need no definition. Without the slightest characterization of your thoughts of you, YOU could not be more indescribable. Quietly know that.
Everything you think, know or say is only symbolic of what is real. Do you see? Language is a way to compress what is real into generalized chunks of information we can comprehend, store, alter, bias, etc., and, later, articulate (symbolism). It is not the “whole” of reality. You do not have the sensory equipment to comprehend the whole. No one does, so be careful with what you articulate as absolute and kind to those who do. They know not what they know.” Again, no one does.
What is it about you that thinks there is so much more to experience than what you experience right now? Find out what that is, and you will never want anything again. You may even gasp at what has always been right before you.
Let not the things you want or desire be the object of your getting. Doing so will ruin all possible good in your life. “Today’s bread,” (only) said the prophet. YOU need not anything else.
The “search” for most is a return to the safety and security of the mythological garden where all wants are fulfilled, and mother, father, and angels stand guard to protect you. In other words, “safety is the search, and it never ends because “what YOU are” never appears in such a garden. You will never find “what YOU are” but among the thorns and thistles. Do you see? Adam and Eve were not cast out of the garden, they were cast into it. Let go of your “garden (idyllic) home” and something unfathomable will appear, e.g., YOU.

Of what are you aware? Is your venture into whatever your experience happens to be about you singularly facing a world that acts upon you in positive or negative ways, or do you experience a world that bustles with movement and surprise, as if “it” is living you? You live or are lived. Living (for most) is a series of snapshots that narrowly focus on you in the world. Being “lived” makes you the whole world. You don’t “choose” one or the other. You simply are; when you know what you are.
If we continue to see things in terms of right and wrong, we will never resolve the fundamental argument with life most of us have, e.g., “Why is life not fair?” Life does not care what you think and why you think it. It moves constantly and inexorably into new horizons that only a mind free of argument can experience.
Life is fair, but only a mind that divides it into rightness and wrongness will question it otherwise. This is the biggest reason for being “out of your mind.”
