Do you know what greed is? “Dear God, Universe, Great Giver of all that is, karma, etc.; I want.” Yes, greed is, “I want.” Don’t confuse your noble intentions with reality, and think that because you describe another version of something you believe is better, that greed is not the base of it. “I want” ties you to an imaginary reality, and the “good” you imagine is better than “what is” is judgment. YOU not only “have” it all, YOU are ALL. Don’t allow yourself to be divided by mind-based trivialities, e.g., what “I want.”
Look beyond your thoughts by silencing them. Peace and plenty, mystery and wondrousness beyond anything you could possibly want, lie within that silence!

There is a Zen saying: “Only out of the mud can the Lotus grow.” All of the things you consider messed up in the world are the mud from which you, the most beautiful of all flowers, emerge, and the “mud” is never, not there, just as YOU have never not been! The world is perfect, as are YOU. Worry not and judge not the mud from which all life takes form. Sow seeds of goodness, gratitude, and kindness so that your life, regardless of its murkiness and mystery, flowers with beauty.

View the world and all its goings-on without your rules, regulations, reasoning, beliefs, judgments, and even resolutions. All those things obscure reality and imprison you with invisible walls that few ever climb over. Only your mind judges life, and life takes on misery because of it. Creation is pure, and all that it brings forth, including you, is born of that purity. Additionally, YOU are the Creator, and nothing you think will alter that. So why think at all? Don’t “think” about it; drop the reasons you think you must think. You’re going to love what you see beyond those walls when you do.

Taking responsibility for your life means giving up everything you believe has gotten you to where you are now. In other words, there is nothing to credit or blame for where you are. You’re here now, and that is all that ever matters in this pristine newness, unencumbered by a nonexistent past or future. You’re not in school or training, nor are you being tested and tried for some made-up purpose; most have deluded themselves into believing it is a necessary stepping stone to another delusion that takes you out of the miracle of this moment. You only have now, and it is what it is, and you are what you are, and no judgment or speculation will alter it or you. So why not embrace this moment with enthusiasm, zest, and a completely clear mind? It’s just more exhilarating if you do!

Your mind cannot connect with the divine, e.g., what YOU are that cannot be thought. Its only focus is “groupthink,” meaning conditioned and given by others. It is forever in search of like minds, like conditioning, confirmation, and security. What YOU are underneath the noise and chatter of thinking cannot be given, trained, thought, described, or searched for. IT just is, and until the “conditioned” is put aside, you will never know IT. That is, know YOU. Clearing your mind clears the way to the wonder of YOU. Nothing more spectacular in all the heavens!

What you think is the foundation of everything you consider wrong in the world, because it falls out of harmony with what you believe is right. What YOU are, outside anything you think or believe, knows only right. That is, “right” is not the opposite of wrong. Isn’t it interesting that “what YOU are” is not “choosing” a life to live but living life as is? And loving it by the way. Get your mind out of the way, and you can too!

Life is always flowing, never pausing, or circling to take you through its various ventures again and again, nor is it contemplating you the way you contemplate it. Most live as though they must “get it right, whatever that means and in not doing so, they pronounce the epithet “it’s all wrong.” Meanwhile, life is moving on just as it always does without care or concern about what you think or do.
Move on. It’s freeing, and nothing you’ve experienced or learned is required to embrace and appreciate the pristine newness of what is happening now. There is nothing but “new” in your life. Every moment is as pure as newly fallen snow. Play in it!

Ego seeks objects, e.g., money, religion, politics, knowledge, accreditations, affiliations, status, safety, or just “things” it can satiate its cravings with and invariably is still left empty. Even having achieved all these things, it begs for more, as if one of these “things,” just one, the right one, will be the “thing” that fulfills an endless craving for something more.
Spirituality is not objective; it is subjective. There is no ” object ” that will ever be it, and yet it is the ultimate fullness, even though there is nothing there to be possessed (objectified). Do you see? Any true form of spirituality is a complete mystery, unfathomable, and is the only “filling” that leaves you full. You’ll always know it because mystery leaves you breathless, awe-struck, speechless, and full.

There is no meaning or essential purpose you must have in life, something you must go to, find, or discover that gives value and defines who you are. You living is the purpose. In other words, you give meaning to life as you live it, not the other way around. Meaning and purpose are mind-made constructs that, instead of giving you something to be or do, actually take away from what YOU are. Do you see?
Knowing YOU is merely being you in whatever the moment presents, without the question, “Why is this happening?” Or worse, “why is this happening to me?” YOU are the only happening, and without YOU happening, nothing else happens! YOU are everything, and there’s a lot of meaning to YOU, happening!

Those who search, regardless of what they do or how they do it, encounter the most significant obstructions to what they seek in the actual doing. That is the mechanics of doing that gets in the way of what the doing is supposed to bring about, and humans are notoriously proficient at getting in their own way. When you break from doing (mechanics), you uncover the power of your unique silence, wherein unfoldment happens, which is a wonderland of mystery and activity no “doing” could ever compare to. Nor could any search lead you to it.
Rest from doing what you think you must do; home is where YOU are when your “doing” is left undone.
